Each session is a standalone, singular workshop. While we would love to see your child at multiple events throughout the year, there is no long-term commitment required! You can sign up for one at a time based on what fits your schedule and your child's interests.

To ensure every child gets the attention and guidance they need, we limit each session to 15 participants.

We are hosted in the downstairs studio at The Crow in Edmonds.
Note on Accessibility: Please be aware that the studio is located on the lower level and is only accessible via a flight of stairs. We sincerely apologize, as this means the space is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible at this time.

We understand that plans change! To keep the Lab running smoothly, we offer the following refund schedule:
• Full Refund: If canceled at least 7 days before the workshop date.
• 50% Refund: If canceled between 7 days and 48 hours before the workshop.
• No Refund: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable, as materials have already been prepared for your child.

You are more than welcome to stay and watch, but please keep in mind that seating and space are limited in the studio area. I am a professional with over 13 years of experience in childcare, so I am fully prepared and capable of being responsible for the children during the session if you’d prefer to drop them off and run errands!

Arriving a few minutes early helps everyone get settled so we can start our project on time, 5-10 minutes before works great!

There is a bathroom available on the upper floor of the building. Because I need to stay downstairs to supervise the group and the creative process, I kindly ask that all children use the restroom before the session starts. I will, of course, assist in the case of an emergency, but using it beforehand helps us keep the creative flow going!
Venue policy dictates that no children under 10 years old may go upstairs to the bathroom without an adult to respect the retail space upstairs.

I’ve designed the 6–10 group (Explorers) and 10–14 group (Creators) to match developmental stages. If you feel your child is right on the cusp, feel free to reach out and we can chat about which session would be the best fit for them!

Yes, for the safety of everyone involved, a standard liability and emergency contact form must be completed for each child prior to the start of their first session. You will fill out this information when booking your workshop!

To ensure the safety of all our crafters and to manage various food allergies effectively, I do not provide snacks. Children are welcome to bring a small snack and a labeled water bottle to enjoy during our break.

Stormy’s Creative Lab is a strictly Nut-Free zone. Please ensure that any snacks brought into the studio do not contain peanuts or tree nuts. This helps keep the space safe for everyone! If your child has a severe contact allergy or other medical concerns I should be aware of, please include that in your registration form or send me an email so I can be prepared.
